As some of you may know, former Poet Laureatte of the United States and Pulitzer Prize winner Mark Strand just passed away this December. He was a venerable influence in my writing. I had asked him to relay some opinions about my first release, The Darkest Day, and he responded with an email, saying "Keep it up!" Words cannot express the sorrow after his loss. He will be missed. Rest in peace, Mr. Strand.
